Vasily has over 15 years of experience in the financial sector with his current focus on the securities market within the Investor Services division at J.P. Morgan.
His responsibility is towards the Russian and CIS client base by driving the Investor Service relationship management and sales activity in the region. Vasily is part of a wider UK team which covers various segments and regions, including UK Banks and Broker-Dealers, France, Southern Europe, CEE and Israel.
Before joining J.P. Morgan, he spent more than 3 years at ING Securities Services in Russia heading sales for their local custody business in Moscow, which at that time was the largest custodian in Russia by clients’ assets in custody. Prior to that, Vasily spent almost 5 years with Unicredit being responsible for Sales, relationship management and business development of Unicredit’s custody franchise in Russia. He was also part of the Group-wide custody sales force in CEE. Simultaneously with that, Vasily was also responsible for other functions of the Russian custody business at Unicredit in his role as a Deputy Head of Custody – these included the oversight of Product Development, Middle Office and Back Office.
Vasily started his career with Bank Eurofinance and VTB.
